The problem
Orbitra’s cloud bill had doubled in two years while traffic grew 30%. Nobody could say which service cost what.
What we built
Cost tagging for every resource, then a service-by-service move to ARM instances behind canary deploys. Each move had a rollback plan tested in staging first.
The result
The monthly bill fell from $81k to $50k, p95 latency improved, and there were zero minutes of downtime.
