In one paragraph
A patient app for a physiotherapy and lab network. Reminders, check-in from the car park and a waitlist that fills cancelled slots on its own.
(04) — Case notes
The problem, what we built, and what changed. Numbers are from the client’s own analytics.
The problem
Harbrook’s 40 clinics lost 12% of appointments to no-shows. Reminders went out by email a day early, and a cancelled slot usually stayed empty.
What we built
Native iOS and Android apps with SMS reminders in six languages, one-tap rescheduling and a waitlist that offers freed slots to the next patient within a minute. Check-in opens 15 minutes before a visit, so reception queues disappeared.
Privacy by default
Health data stays in Canada, every record access is logged, and the app works with the clinic’s existing booking system instead of replacing it.
The result
Missed appointments fell 31% in the first quarter. 62% of freed slots are now refilled the same day.
